Images Free and Fair Use Images for Education
These are a great start when looking for Creative Commons images.
- Pics4Learning. This site offers a safe, free image library for education. Teachers and students can use the copyright-friendly photos and images for classrooms, multimedia projects, websites, videos, portfolios or any other project in an educational setting. It’s easy to use, and all of the copyright information is available in a simplistic bibliography underneath any chosen photo.
- Photos for Class. This is similar to Pics4Learning. You simply run a search, click on a thumbnail and the photo downloads with the copyright information as a caption on the photo.

Go to your grade level category on the top bar, then move the cursor to your curricular area. Lots here, but might take some digging!
Look here for literature and language arts, art and culture, foreign language, and history and social studies.

Developed at the University of Missouri, this site has over 4,000 lesson plans and continues to grow.

Sign up for this free, educator-driven resource, sponsored by the Clark County School District in Nevada. It takes a bit of digging, and it's not easy to find a specific topic (better to leave the topic space blank!), but the lesson plans by content area are detailed and worth reviewing. The demonstration videos show teachers' favorite instructional, management, and organizational techniques..
